Unuite is an Native American or “aboriginal” merc.
He has 120 health 390 movement speed and falls into the assault catergory.
He is equiped with the s-and-w revolver and Tommohawk.
(Tommohawk does 50dmg swing 80dmg stab, same speed etc as katana).
Unuite can equip other pisols with loadout cards e.g Simeon and D.eagle.
Note:all loadout cards are equiped with tomohawk or Beckel.
Unuites primary ability is a bow, with infinite ammo(as it is an ability)has an effective range of 20m and delivers 80dmg per shot at 1shot per second.
After shooting 10 arrows he has a 5sec cool down.
To play Unuite shoot them with a bow and finish them off with a pistol.
Note: when the bow is drawn back he has to walk.
To counter him try to dodge his arrows as they fly slow, and try to keep him at a far to medium range as he is affective mostly at close range.
So now the only thing left to do is recruite Unuite, shoot those arrows and play Dirttttttty.

(disclaimer: I am not a dev, and just chose to submit this merc in this style of “merc role call”.)
new merc "Inuite".
No offense, but Merc Role Calls only really work if, you know, make them into a video? I’d suggest sticking to the Merc Suggestion form if you want your ideas to be taken seriously.
Also, very similar Mercs have been talked about before. I’d suggest reading the discussions those threads.
No it’s not. There is no guideline to suggestinf and Mercenary role calls are literally straight to the point.
Dude, that’s a worse health/speed balance than Skyhammer or Redeye.
The primary weapon is pretty disgusting, it’s-
Ah, forget it.
Anyways, if you want a crossbow merc I think that one of the currently existing mercs should be given a crossbow. Either Fletcher (so stickies can be nerfed to become a primarily defensive tool) or Proxy (so that her pizza delivery strategy could be nerfed) should have the crossbow gimmick so that they can engage in medium-long range.
Also nice merc name. It gave me cancer reading it.
@Brycko the format is just a way to convey a message.
@Dysfnal i agree
@JJMAJR not a cross bow, a longbow.
As for speed i meant same speed as skybro.
As for weapons the bow is basically his primary.
And unuite is an indian tribe.
- Please don’t say “indian”, be specific.
- It’s “Inuit”, a*s.
- You don’t see Aura be named “black woman” now, so why have an incredibly racist interpretation of one person’s culture be the whole point of a class? For all you know an Inuit person would be using LMGs. I’m serious about this.
*EDIT: Even if the “Inuite” thing was supposed to be feminine, the character you wanted to make is male.
@JJMAJR i meant to say aboriginal.
We wouldnt have to nesessarly call her unuit, i just couldnt come up with a name, any suggestions?
I’m confused whether to put Insightful, Agree, or Like for that, so I’ll just go for LOL.

Name it after something from archery.
I don’t feel like the merc fits into the game very well at all. It sounds very casual with no purpose in competitive what so ever.
Unless the arrows were instant and did more damage than 80hp, then the merc just doesn’t fit in. Were you were meaning 80hp per bodyshot or headshot? If you’re meaning body shot I’d be surprised if anyone thought that was a good idea. I mean the Grandeur already does 80hp per headshot and that can be fired more than 10 times, so I just don’t see the point in this character other than a bit of fun for pub play.
I mean it’s basically Hanzo, and Hanzo only works well in Overwatch because the hitboxes are abnormally big, something Dirty Bomb doesn’t have. I don’t see how slow projectiles / arrows will work well in a fast paced game like Dirty Bomb.
For the character to work (in my opinion) the arrows would have to be very very fast. Faster than Hanzo from Overwatch, just because of how fast Dirty Bomb movement is, and the weapon should be his primary weapon with some kind of active ability.
@Dox arrows fly fast, to fast to dodge(coming from a real archer).
And it is 80dmg per body shot, 119 dmg per headshot(I forgot to mention).
Overwatch has slower projectiles to real life. A real arrow would fly much faster and would need to in Dirty bomb.
I’ve talked about bows in the past. Hitboxes can be wonky and sometime give random headshots where none were deserved, as server-sided projectiles can act odd in some games.
The idea of damage falloff needs to be considered, along with travel time, if any. Otherwise, you’ll have the same complaint about the arrows as you get from people who still think fletcher is overpowered after his nerf.
(I’ve since retracted my hatred of Fletcher post-nerf. He’s fine, now that he can’t airbust you to death.)
Well, you could just put the bow ability on Fletcher and rework his sticky bombs. Or Proxy and rework her mines.

I actually hate the fact that Fletcher basically has grenades, with objective specialist. That kind of combination makes every other objective specialist redundant/useless on offense.
If the bow goes on an objective specialist (with a terrible weapon like Proxy/Flecher) I would have no problems with it.
In response to the above answer
(someone to pray to who won’t intervene or ruin the lives of others)
Engineers shouldn’t be able to do what Nader or Fragger does. They should definitely not be able to do both what Nader/Fragger does at the same time. Both of those classes have abilities that support them on offense.
Objective Specialist is supposed to complement a defensive ability. Otherwise you have a character that would almost always be needed on offense.
And if you want to know why, ask @THUNDA for help.
