-Beckhill Knife
                     -Kukri

Ability 1:

Drones: -Cooldown:45 seconds
-Speed:Accelerates from 0 to 465 in 2 seconds
-HP:30
-Works as a spotting tool,it allows the player to control a flying drone that’s smaller than Proxy’s mines, but bigger than Fletcher’s stickys. The drone’s remote is on Drone’s left arm,and can go back and forth controlling the drone as long as it doesn’t get shot by anybody. That drone can hack from a limited range into turrets, mines, med stations and every other spotting tool besides Redeye’s eye and other drones.Anything that got hacked has to reboot in order to work against your enemies. It takes 3 seconds in order to sucessfully hack something.for 8 seconds.

-Can go as high as 3 meters.

Special ability:

Being a robot,Drone doesn’t get his heals and revives from medics, but from engineers,Engies can blowtorch him back to life (it takes 2.5 seconds, for 60 hp),and to give him his HP with it too.

Non-engineers can still get him up.

Exclusive Augments: -Troublemaker:Instead of hacking the turrets, the drone can disable one deployable for 20 seconds by attaching itself onto the target.

                           -Sky High:The drone can go 1.5 meters higher.(from 3)

Backstory:
Nothing knows what happens in the bowels of the post Dirty Bomb London besides the CDA,and that’s unforturnate, since they’re not willing to share anything, what pepole do know, however,is that it’s probably not good to send humans in a highly radioactive environnement where just breathing could kill you. So,they created all sorts of robots to explore the epicenter and the sewers of the city, from drones to simple vehicles. When Drone was built, everybody thought that giving a robot a consciousness would have been a great idea, until you realize that the engineers and scientists forgot to give to the 200 million dollars prototype a tracking chip,a good communication device, and a way to make him return to his laboratory. On the first CDA mission he was sent,he went to the opposite direction he was supposed to go,got to the Londonian suburbs and lived on his own, until he was told from a Jackal that he shot to near death that he needed money to get spare parts for his defective communication device, apprently, having a buzzing sound for weeks can even drive robots nuts.He also told him that the CDA logo painted on the right side of his head was “a tad misleading” before dying in an extremely painful way.

Signature Quote: YOUR RATE OF DANGEROSITY IS OF 0%. TO BE PRECISE,IT IS OF 0.000001%.
DRAW ME. A SHEEP.AND MAYBE.I WILL NOT BRUTALLY MURDER YOU.
DO YOU GUYS.HEAR THE BUZZING SOUND?

long sigh

Less than a week ago, I evaluated a few drones and RC cars and explained why they’re bad for the speed and game type of dirty bomb.

Using an remote control drone means you’re sitting still and not shooting: in this game, that’s a problem. If you make the drone too hard to spot, it’s impossible to kill. If you make it too large, it dies instantly. In the case of flying around, the skybox isn’t exactly restrictive. This means it could be game breaking if a drone gains the ability to deal damage.

My opinions on remote-control type cars are in line with this as well: even more so when people recommend that deployables gain the ability to complete an objective (repairing, defusing, exc)

The game is meant to be played with humans: not ai’s or deployables alone.

how a bout a hacking antenae that you could place to jam some abilities so when you want to use the ability it cools down for 5 sec.

pretty severe if used on fletcher and bushwhacker and proxy spam

(Your worst knifemare.) #4

Theres a lot of drone ideas…

Hacking a medic would result in their healing being made useless along with their defibs: effectively turning them into poor damage classes for the duration and making their role within the game unreliable. I always will advise against removal of another’s ability or changing the balance of roles within the game. - I also would like to avoid any ‘required’ picks. In public servers, having multiples of this sort of merc running around would disable an entire enemy team.

pretty much this,

if we took out ability its kind of wrong

but if we pull off explosive spam its also kind of wrong

devs gonna need to think about it pretty hard
How about making a drone that is an exact copy of the player in regards to stats, weapons, and etc, but has half of their hitbox size?

I think I tried doing that earlier, maybe I’m wrong. It essentially gives the player an “extra life” when pushing an objective.
Anyhow, this character has a vary wide array of weapon types. It’s really hard to justify whether or not the MOA is justified on this character because it’s such a huge boost compared to the automatics.
