No to the extreme, you already can do melee only with Sparks,Kira or Phantom, but i sugest not to do that, and i don’t think the Devs would allow a melee only merc.

(On a serious note, Please put some thought in and don’t submit troll mercs nonstop?

When the devs had a melee-oriented character in the form of melee-Phantom in the alpha, some people hated it. - In upper levels of play, regardless of movement speed, bullets should win vs melee, given enough heads-up.)
