New Matchmaking is broken

1st is the one everyone who has a friend is complaining about. I can’t play with friends. Listen this is the same nonsense Loadout another game pulled finally we quit that game and now it’s basically dead and buried.

Even in loadout not allowing to group friends up didn’t change the fact people would get spawn camped. Listen if you keep catering to noobs they are never going to learn. I’m not saying group 6 friends together but at least a minimum of 2 friends. It’s annoying but if this continues well matter of time before all players who have friends will move on to newer pastures.

2nd matchmaking now is so bad in Asia I can’t believe this system got implemented before testing in a small group of servers. What I mean yesterday just for test purposes I wanted to see if I never stack what would matchmaking do with me. 7 games lost in a row. Every game opposition is full of 30+ or 15+ level whereas my team will be lvl 5,6,7,8 if I’m real lucky one high level.

How is this balanced. I will end the match with 40+ kills my team all will be negative K/D they struggle to even kill 1 guy. Which means I’m running around trying to make up kills to get into the objective area. This continues for another 6 games as I saw matchmaking kept doing the same thing over and over and over.

So you’re punishing me because I can kill at a very high rate so you balance around it by making sure players like us are grouped up with such new players who still have no comprehension what to do in a game let alone how to shoot.

It’s frustrating to say the least. I have players who die then leave the game and make it 5 v 6 if it wasn’t already bad enough. Also have players which get tired and just spectate while I’m forced to play 5 v 6 or 4 v 6. Well I’m done with your terrabad matchmaking. I’m just going to join games where I feel there is a chance of competent players and I’m biding my time before I move on to another fps game if this continues.

There are some who will go nothing is wrong please go on and live in your delusion. Asia pool is not as large as other areas but the issue is matchmaking is making me non stop after 2 games where I’m obliterating players then suddenly it goes enough here take all the new players now burn in hell and watch as they don’t do anything.

Well if this doesn’t change just like Loadout I can say GG to you. I was the number 1 player in Oceanic in Planetside 2 and few other games. Planetside 2 we left because of very bad decisions on the development part finally. I’ve seen so many fps games die because of stupid decisions. For me I’m not too worried there are new fps’s around the corner so go on make my day by continuing in this fashion.

I still have hope because previously I complained about Asia servers missing and you brought it back. So you do listen then it’s my bad and thank you very much. Sorry if I sound irate with matchmaking it’s just you should have tested in a small group of servers before rolling it out.

Catering to noobs ruins any game, sad to see Splash Damage doesn’t know any better.

Cater to the least dedicated and least capable set of people playing your game, the same group who tend to just game-hop to anything new or f2p which is part of why they’re always bad. Baffling.

Rage Quitting is bad. A lot of low level players have the misconception that high level means high skill. The psychological impact of such “high” numbers means they can afford to be lazy, or sometimes curious without much thought.

Remember, level 10 is the new level 0.

There is no matchmaking outside of “competition mode”. If you mean “quick join” (cause you say you see the enemies levels), it just puts you on an available server and in the first free slot there. First tries attacker, then defender.
At the end of the lobby phase it would assign the players available on the server as good as possible. If theres only donks and you, its only you and the donks to be distributed. If other players join later, they get get assigned in the attacker defender pattern mentioned earlier.

Just use the server browser, its not that hard.

High level doesnt mean high skill. You dont have to forfeit the game in your mind at start… Actually the lv10+ servers are filled with these quickjoin people not able to find their crosshair on the screen. Can find a lot better matches on standard servers from my experience.

What I do find positive is that if the lobby is actually full during the distribution, the games are often a lot better than before the antistack patch. Especially in the evening when a lot more players are there with friends.

You get mixed and a chance to bash your friend. Enjoy :naughty:

Also stay in a room. Games get balanced very well in lobbies based on points people did in the previous match. You can’t balance based on skill because skill isn’t measureable.
And please. It’s not true the other team is getting all the good players non-stop and you get all the noobs.

Did you read and understand what I said. It’s full of people who know what their doing vs a team full of people who can’t kill anything and are new. At least before I had a friend to back me up so we could at least do something about it. Now it’s ridiculous. People are leaving games just to join back and stack.

I’m not sure how your servers are in America but in Asia it’s different. I never said they spawn raped me. When did I say that. They can’t do that with me in the team but there is no chance to win an objective because people cannot kill or know what their doing. You need to at least matchmake people evenly.

As I said. I stayed in the game for 7 lobbies straight. It kept giving me the same players albeit 1 high level who then get’s pummeled because the other team is so stacked.

I’m done explaining to people. I could care less if they fix it because in the end they lose players who actually put money into the game. As I said go ahead and make my day. 2 can play this stupid stack game.

Fix it don’t fix it’s up to you. I’m just here till Overhype, Law Breaker & BOPS 3 comes out. If these issues remain please feel free to keep playing with your dwindling player base make sure you delude yourself enough that’s it’s not happening :disappointed:

Fireworks: This is directed to you. Yes I used the lobby system. I never ever use quickmatch. It’s matchmaking me for 7 lobbies in a row with people who just got the game. I play 2 games where the game is fine then I get something 40 or 50 kills then it suddenly starts. It just refuses to give me better players to help me. Today I’m done just going to find rooms where players are competent and join those if not leave simple no headache thank you Splash. Please continue to cater to noobs :smiley:

Then just like how Planetside 2 died don’t forget to send me automated emails saying how awesome you fixed your game and to please return so I spend money on it. I’ve seen it all.

If you are able to make 40-50 kills solo the game gives you weaker players because you’re too good. And your “cater to noobs” part literally makes no damn sense.

This is why I said I need them to let us play with friends. At least before when this happened me and he would somehow win matches even with stacked opposition or come close.

Sometimes yes it’s so hopeless because 4 players 1 was looking at the wall yes you heard me right the wall the other 3 were running in the wrong direction during second objective because they didn’t know the map layout. Me and my friend still were able to hold out.

Me and my friend got this game to play together which was possible before still possible now but it’s just so annoying. Listen if I want to play against him I’d probably not got this game.

If this game is heading in the direction of not allowing friends to group up at all no issues as I said and am sure someone will point out there’s the door feel free to leave. Yes I shall the moment 1 of the new FPS’s i’ve waited for arrives.

I just feel you have a good game but need people to be able to play with your friends. Some people don’t want to go against their friends countless of times because the reason we game is so we can work as a team.

Competitive I’m sorry I don’t have a team. Also in Asia I’ve tried queuing for competitive it never ever popped because no one does it.
