Not feelIn the new maps, except for Beach.
If you go 2nd on the other two, you can barely get out of your spawn, especially on Favela
The after party pack is decent.

I like Beach best out of those three. Favela looks innovative but if you set your team up correctly and you get to go first you can almost guarantee yourself a win. Old Town should be called “Sniper Stand-off”; it’s like Bridge but with fewer opportunities to move down the flanks because it only has one flank available to each team and the enemy can mount a perfect overwatch of the only route open to you.
For those that don’t have it yet, I actually think the Afterparty expansion has better and more interesting maps. YMMV though!

Old town is the worst, I find myself having to play with a bit of patience. Any wrong moves can change the outcome quickly. It is getting into a position to neutralise the enemy snipers before rushing forward. With Juan and Peter combo with a med this is very hard. Especially now the captain has reduced abilities they run out quickly.
Favela is very claustrophobic and I actually been doing ok going second it is similar to old town but more deadly cause of close range.
Beach is the best there is movement and a balance for both close and long range weapons to shine, which helps stop players cloning one type. You will need a few type combos. I haven’t been in a game where winner holds the flag area (no cover) so it is more about hunting down enemy.

Two of my games in old town are now over 13 turns +
and my oppenants with the high powered snipe rifles (Peter and Juan) just sit in position and do nothing, any attack from me I get hurt more than he does, has madam healing double what gus can do. No way to drop c4 or throw up balcony. This map is snipers dream. I think this map needs more thinking to balance it, I have never had games go longer than this on any other map, cause you either eliminate or hold by then.

Old Town is a triky map to play in, and it is designed for Snipers, so if you go with Melee users, you’re going to have a bad time, although it’s not imposible to win using Melees or Mecanics, I’ve defetead a couple of opponents using Dave or Megan.

That could be, but it sure would not be easy, I’ll tell you what, I’ll challenge you to that stage using snipers, if you beat I’ll belive you

Beach is the best by farrrrrrr
Favela is ok, when you start first, I find it hard to get back in the came when I start second.
Old town is just terrible to play on, I find the games take forever and opponents are often reluctant to move in, if had many squad members killed by snipers holding their positions in their side.
