I would recommend making a map on your own. Team projects have tendancies to fall apart.[/quote]
in this situation i would agree mapping as a team is a pretty complex idea since you making it much more complex than just making a single map your dealing with many different resources coming from many different location and until you are more experienced and comfortable with dealing in these it might be a good idea to narrow your horizons to keep the workload manageable
also when looking for mapping partners etc its always good to either post a link to or some screenshots of your previous and best work so others can see what sort of level you are on. at the moment you could be pretty much anywhere in the begins phase of mapping maybe just finished one or two tutorials or learnt wealth of background knowledge and want to start using it. screenshots will help others decide if they want to work with you
Mapping team is a good idea, however you have to count with someone’s opinion, ideas etc. Look at BobLeRoux, Marko, LowLife (don’t sure about nicknames, sry if they’re wrong). So many well-made maps… but the most idiotic thing is that they had put a .campaign file inside .pk3! I had to replace them by empty ones. Doesn’t matter, but don’t do that 8)
