First off, this is a map for RtCW, not ET. I just hope there are a few people out there still enjoying RtCW!!
So after 4 months of mapping, learning, and more mapping, I’ve finished my first map! It’s called mp_office and it is a direct translation of the office building that I work in.
Now, even though it is a representation of a real building, I’ve taken gameplay into consideration with how I’ve structured the objectives. There’s a lot for engineers to do!
With the recent influx of 32 player maps, this one is a nice change of pace as it actually plays well with even a 3-on-3. So it would do well for a lan party. It can support 32 players as well, but I believe that would cause chaos to reign down.
Objectives:
- Allies must retrieve the passcodes from the server room on the first floor.
- Allies can open up alternate paths to the server room by blowing up the fire doors, training room wall, and vending machines.
- Once the Allies have the passcodes, they must take them to the computer terminal in the basement. Only then will the doors to the generator open.
- Once the passcode locked doors have been unlocked, the Allies must blow up the basement generator to win the match.
