New Map: Rizeur_B2

This is my new map.
I did it in 3 Days. ( no sleep) :evil:

My friend Anthos start mapping this map. he need help whit objective . So i do it and put my personnel touch on it :lol:

It a very small map and each team need to blow the radio equipment. First team blow it, first team win!
If the game goes over 15min, game was draw.

We try it 5 vs 5 on the rizeur_b1 and it was very funny. On the Rizeur_B2, i try to improve the gameplay and fix some bug find during the fight.
Any idea, bug find or good suggestion for the final version are welcome.

I got a bug but i think that dont affect the game. Also, if somebody can tell me how to fix it, i will do it for finalversion.
The bug appear when the game start and when an eng. build the bridge.

But the bridge working good. It a prefab i found here about neutral constructible.

Rizeur_B1 to Rizeur_B2

-FIx some bug texture,
-Add some brush detail.
-Fix the bridge bug ( bridge cannot be destroy)
-Change back door to real door. Can be blow by other team.
-Change cave door to real door. Can be blow by other team.
-Add team door in the middle
-Optimisation (HINT BRUSH)
-Delete the light spot for avoid tricky jump.
-Add trigger Hurt on the top of the side fence
-Add VO sound
-Fix ladder Bug
-Add Light in the cave
-Breaking windows
-Cage protect the bridge contruction
-Landmines on cave

Feature Bug fix( Rizeur_b2 to rizeur_Final:
-Roof texture cap Natural (fix)
-Axis left side texture terrain (fix)
-Axis left side texture track (fix)
-fix VO sound

Hmmm, 3 days doesn’t seem that much… Maybe I’ll try the map later.

As for polls, I invite people to rate this poll:

  • please no more polls!
  • Again?
  • mmm, okay
  • polls are cool
  • OMG MUST VOTE!

My point? Polls are rarely used purposefully… And I guess it’s not really necessary for every map.

To be honest,
I take 3 days none-stop to build the B1.
About 2 weeks to finish B2 .
like 1 or 2 hours each day.

I dont understand why you complained about my pool kamikazee…
Next time i will put a categorie for you… " I dont like poll" :lol:

If you dont like poll, dont cast your vote and that it!

it looks nice :slight_smile: could be extra nice with much patchways etc many doors, openings towers etc triggers, secret doors could be soo nice! and btw i dont like the flag lol :slight_smile:

Ah, that wasn’t clear from the first post, this sounds far more logical.

Sorry, it’s nothing personal, but there seems to be trend lately to create a poll with every new map thread. That way, an option “I don’t like polls” is not really useful if my point is not to create polls for every thread needing comments.

Maybe because simply voting 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5 or 5/5 is not useful for anyone, except for the creators ego perhaps…

A simple “I don’t like it, because …” has much more value and doesn’t take much longer to post…

i added your map in our rotation but must be a problem cuz we stuck on the precedent one same after !nextmap
and we have the error message !loading the map

i use an objective.cfg for mine rotations and add the maps name found in the arena file so for your map it is : rizeur
and same using :name"rizeur_b2" this dont work again

can u fix this problem

It’s the BSP file you need the name from, not the arena file.

Have you tried /rcon map [BSP Name]
