great looking map from the screens, cant test till tomorow though

the buidling in your map look more ET than rtcw but it fits with the screens realy well, and the fog makes everything look realy distan and realy add to the atmosphere

will give it a better post when i have played it

It’s not my first map, but it is my first released map for a Quake 3 engine game. I’ve made lots of maps for Quake 1 and 2 and one for Half-Life.

Possibly my last RTCW level, although I was thinking of doing a checkpoint level or maybe an ET level before moving onto newer engines.

By the way, the map source is included in the pk3 if anyone wants to convert MP_Checkpoint to ET (or SP conversion or whatever.)

The website to make the maps?

Do you mean the map that appears on the loading screen? I printed out the 2d top down view from radiant (well, snapped and printed with photoshop), traced over it in pencil and then scanned it back in. Then I heavily touched it up in photoshop. The paper textures are modified versions of the documents you can find in the wolfenstein pak files.

If you want the PSD image I can send it to you (4mb) but it would be pretty useless I think.

I’m in the stages of converting this for ET and wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of finding the train wheel models as used in this map?
