Hmm, not a bad idea, but it should be a US helicopter. Perhaps there were early models of those, too, back then?

I noticed that fps is pretty bad indeed on NQ, but on other mods, it’s actually pretty ok (not saying it’s really high, but playable). Well, I’m not sure if it’s mod related, anyways.
Well, we’ve noticed a lot of various game scenario’s . We’ve seen ‘from very hard for allies’ to ‘allies complete the map in 4 minutes’. It’s actually, if you ask me, pretty easy for allies, compared to axis. It’s just a matter of how good the axis team is (but that’s always in maps). Axis must always be on the move and be alert, allies have enough roads to reach the objective. But it’s interesting to hear that allies are having a hard time too.
Anyhow, we’re always open for suggestions!
Thanks again and I hope your servervisitors, despite the hard time, did enjoy the game a bit.

yes we are back with NQ 123 testing a few NQ 125 but cuz some crashes related we prefere wait for the final version
i usually have a good fps for the maps we play so i cant say
but keep the great job for your map
and yes dont sure the helico is needed

That’s a known issue. Since allies spawn ‘under’ the normal level of the map, they will have many fps problems there.
Though, the first stage of the map (beach landing) is not a battle zone. In all the scenario’s I’ve seen, I’ve never actually seen any (big) fights around that area, so despite the lower fps, it shouldn’t really matter and allies gain more fps as they go up.
Also, many fights and actions take place inside the town, where FPS is more stable.
It really was a pretty big issue: lower fps in first stage and a bigger map, or a more stable fps, but a really small map?
Anyhow, I keep saying it (and I keep on doing that as long is needed), I thank you for testing in another mod. All your feedback (and those of others) is very interesting and helpful!

Also, thanks for sending in your feedback. But yes, as Rebel said, we encountered that problem as well.
We’re afraid we don’t really know how to solve that problem. You can still shoot the enemy through those fences, the HOM effect only occurs when aiming at the skybox when looking through the fences, but I admit, it is annoying.

But if you find more bugs, feel free to post!
Yup, all of these problems are known to us, but up to this moment, there aren’t many solutions at hand.

Please remove helis 
Some suggestions:
- create some war background noise speakers inside carentan
- change anouncer text to use ‘Axis’ instead of the ‘Germans’ (wall is breached), check announcer colors in general
- create an axis sniper location (window on top) at the Feldkommandantur
- change windows and/or close walls completely with other gimmicks (see fps comment)
- if you use custom sounds/shaders (sound/vcar10/cable_creak.wav/cm_frostbytedocs) try to reduze the size of path/filename to save space in the configstring
- Add additional health/ammo stands at E,1 to support axis defence at objective
About the fps droppings … there are just too many wide open areas which cause it in my eyes. Viewing from and staring at bottom of the heli I get 17 fps f.g.
(GForce2) Inside carentan you may get more fps if you close some windows. I’m not a mapper but I think it’s worth to check the PVS and portal stuff …
Anyway nice map with nice MG location at E,2 ! Gonna build a tent there

There are indeed many open places (well especially in the beginning of the map), but that’s how the COD map is like too (except for the beach landing of course) 
hehe @ mg location… we’ll put a tent in for you ^^ (or some firewood… it can get chilly at times)
