New Map: chess_v1

Hitler and Churchill decided themselves to have a tiny game of chess. Naturally, this all ends bad and your team is sent in to clean up the mess. To make it all worse, the enemy has done the same. Your leader has decided for you to destroy all enemy chess pieces at all cost! While at the same time defend your own ones!

I run your Pacman map on our server, it’s a good 8 minute break from the seriousness of gaming. It puts some of the fun back in and takes the edge off… I like that you are continuing in that vein with your other maps. I also like that your newer maps (this and Tron) it has more of a Baserace type feel in that both axis and allies must attack and defend at the same time. I’m looking forward to switching out for this one when Pacman gets retired.

Thanks for trying out my maps. Yes, they’re a bit different, they are intended to be. I’ll let the other mappers here run more realistic scenarios while they are leaving all the fun to me :stuck_out_tongue:

Great map Bloodwire, and an interesting idea w/the destroyable pieces, like Baserace in reverse. It’d be neat to see a version with scriptmovers, doing rad chess moves. Castling enabled maybe.
