new map: >>Castlecapture<<

Hi all!

I have a new map created: Castlecapture

objective: capture the castle

map:

(blue is under the ground)

Description:

  • The towers are constructible by all teams.
  • If the castlespawn is owned by allies:
    • gates are constructible by allies
    • north and south doors are close for axis
  • If the castlespawn is owned by axis:
    • gates are constructible by axis
    • north and southh doors are close for allies
  • The bridgecontrols are constructible by all teams.
    • If the westbridgecontrols are constructed the westbridge can open and
      close. And it’s the same by the eastbridgecontrols.

One thing… Does the teams start right next to each other?

Because thats a bad idea… Let them start in each corner instead.

sorry for the missing info.

The axis spawn in the castle and the allies spawn outside.

What is the ip of your server?

It’s 213.171.207.163, but the map’s not on yet, I will probably put it on tonight (There’s players on it right now so don’t want to shut it down to sort it out!).

It’s great but how the hell do you operate the bridge??? I’ve constructed the controls but?

Ooooh I found them but isn’t that a bit pointless? :stuck_out_tongue: Cos the bridge can just be put down again by allies?

EDIT #2:

This map could be really competitive… Should start a league with it!! :stuck_out_tongue:

One suggestion, where you build the bridge controls, have a screen there and a lever there to control the bridge (with 2 lights saying whether it’s open or closed??).

That would be cool :slight_smile:

EDIT #3: ‘The eastbridge is now close’ -> ‘The east bridge is now closed’. :slight_smile:

EDIT #4: When you have the castle as axis… You can select ‘Axis Outside Spawn’ but it doesn’t actually spawn there, make it unselectable?

Rudi, all you’re requests are done. i have the map you want. Now i only must create a .pk3 file. so that will take a few 30 minutes.

You must be using ET 2.55 then (BAD BOY!!!).

I host the 2.60 files on my server @ http://www.rudivisser.com/et/et_patch_2_60.exe

There’s also ET 2.60b ET.exe file @ http://www.rudivisser.com/et/ET.exe

BTW I added you to the team group @ iMod forums, and I’ve added a mapper section, hopefully we’ll get some nice requests for maps on there!! :slight_smile:

I’ll update the server with the new maps tonight :slight_smile:

i hope that we get much maps XD
