Seems SD have created a new type of software, Invite-ware.
Although I wont get an invite cos apparently my name looks like a butt. :bored:
OSP (orangesmoothie.com) created the goat sound… not etpro… its history is in Rtcw… OSP worked on ET with Splash Damage and gave etpro the go ahead to use the sound… hell the code was already in ET so its not like they did anything to add it into the game… giving credit to ETPro for something they didnt do is kinda lame

I think it’s just misinformation or lack of knowledge, not them setting out to be lame or steal some glory from rhea. Not everyone that’s played ET has automatically played RTCW, or even OSP for that fact.
Anyway it’s set in the quakeverse, it should really say HUMILIATION!
I dont understand this. If you cant raise your global stats on servers running mods doesnt that mean that ppl simply wont play mods, which will kill the mod communitiy that SD is trying so hard to build.
Even if it would be so, i wouldn’t care if my stats update or not. Your not a better player if you have more points in your stats…
Someone can be a better player but playing only 1 hour a week (gathering less stats time dependent, or maybe only playing clan wars) and another person can play 2 hours a day public, so make more stats with the time playing, but be a bad player, taktiker, aimer or what ever…
So i don’t give a f*ck on statistic point or ranks. The weapon accuracy stats may be ok. But those still are a little theoretics, different play styles “can” give out different accuracy for comparable good players.
So do i think about stats.
Unfortunately alot of people disagree with you, “Stats are life” like people from the bf community and the old counterstrike that had server to server stats. Thats why if the mission or set of missions where fun to play and had longevity to them then stats wouldnt be needed hopefully.
In BF42 you had separet stats for mods. (Third party stats-system.)
In BF2 they didn’t care about mods and wanted to rent our overpriced ‘ranked’ servers, so it didn’t.
Neither games are ET:QW.
Second part will take some extra days (just to tease you guys).
