New Idea : Multiple loadout cards while in a match.

(KillTastic) #1

The idea of having to wait for an entire match to change loadouts. Why not?

What do you think? Tell me in the comments.

nah its better right now so you take the loadout according to the map cause i personnaly preffer a blishlok aura in chapel cause the map is a bit big and dont have a lot of close range when defending but in bridge i still preffer a shotgun aura so i dont really think having the ability to change loadouts would be nice

This would be kinda good for snipers, different ones can be better for different team styles

im guessing that you mean being able to take the same merc’s various loadout cards together.

personally, that’s one of the first things i tried doing when i started playing(you know, after actually getting loadout cards i mean). was quite surprised when i couldnt do it.

as for whether it would be a good idea to add this…probably not. think about it this way: you have to bring 3 characters with you, and you cant just bring 1 character with his/her 3 of our favorite loadout cards with that character. say if you could, people would probably bring 3 vassili cards, 1 felix card, one spotter card and one pdp card or something. we might scoff at the idea but someone’s gonna be dumb enough to do it. in addition to that, you’re reducing the possibility that a newb player can play an actually useful role, he might not bring along his aura and skyhammer mercs because he wants to have 2 proxy cards with him. part of the gameplay is having to choose the proper merc and loadout card for a specific map. it would be better if you knew what team you were on as well, but that part’s kinda random. sometimes you know immediately which team you’re on and sometimes you wait until after the merc selection phase is over.
not that everyone cares too much, the thing that matters most is whether or not you want to bring fire support characters that arent stoker into underground XD
anyways, i think i like the current system where you have to carefully pick the merc and loadout you will be having with you for the rest of the game, though i do think it’s not perfect, especially for people trying out certain mercs and cards for the first time.
