A couple of times now I have been involved in games where the players have all agreed to use only Blades - no bombs, grenades, guns, orbital laser, artillery etc. Everyone agreed that it was a heap of fun - so much so that we played in this mode for almost two hours. But, all it takes is for someone to pull out a gun and start throwing the lead around to spoil it for everyone else. Given the positive feedback maybe it would be a good idea to introduce this as a permanent feature of the game?

Yeah, I’m not too much of a fan of this mode, given Aura has her Defibs and blade, and her speed, to aid her. And Phantom still being Phantom.

I suppose there is a point here, certain mercs well certainly dominate. But at the same time, considering there would be no abilities, the only difference between mercs would be health, speed, etc. Other base stats.
These could be adjusted to better balance the game for this mode only.
