NEW Fueldump ETpro map script

Fueldump “Pro” Script

In addition to all etpro features and setting of the allied autospawn to the cp at spline 73, this script disables stage 2 of the east depot defenses. Thanks to 2/3Soul for the modified constructible code. Noobs can no longer build the “east defenses, stage 2” with this script. Only “stage 1” can be built. On the west side, both stages of depot defenses work normally. No more games spoiled by hyperactive noobs.

Just wondering if you would be so kind as to script for goldrush the inability to repair the tank after the bank doors are blown.

(mortis) #3

perhaps…I wasn’t aware that it is unrepairable after blowing the bank by default.

I think he means he would like it so it is impossible to repair the tank after the bank doors have been blown.

just my 2 cts:

If you keep making scripts for every eventuality that noobs might do… there ll be no end of it. Maybe make another script that will give Axis teh command post right away because some noobs don’t build it?
I think it would be A LOT more useful for the game if you just tell the ppl and explain to them… because that way they’ll actually learn to play smarter. This way (making lots of scripts just cuz someone got pissed cuz a new player didnt know sophisticated tactical details) is heading in the wrong direction.

Well, the beautiful thing about map scripts is that they are optional. Use them if you like them, don’t use them if you don’t like them. People have been bugging me about this for a year, and I just haven’t had time to get to it, what with all my other projects, bug fixes and other reponsibilities.

You are right in one thing though: this script is only a gameplay change, not a bugfix. Persons wanting my old versions can still get them here:

Well, that’s what I like about these etpro-scripts. They only change the entities/gameplay in a map, but leave the appearence of the map intact.
