New engineer suggestion

Maybe a barricade ability would be good. So you can build a more defensive place, there would be levels of barricade too
1-Can be shot through by any side, if u crouch your safe
2-You can stand up in the middle and crouch round the sides
3-Stand up everyone small slit to shoot through/ butt turret through.

Engineers already build objective barricades. Being able to build them anywhere means engie would be overpowered and everyone would just play as engies.

Ok, mayeb a plasma sheild as an op? can be destroyed of course… with something like 400 HP(Equivelant of about 2 heavies)

Not too bad an idea, but I was hoping that the gun sheild in the AoC DLC was going to be a SOLDIER deployable rather than something to do with engineer. Turns out its a weapon attachment! Will have to see how it works.

Ah, yes! This one. I find this a very fun tactic to exploit against bots. Try to get behind an enemy turret(very easy to do). I think with the help of no friendly fire(never tried a match with FF on, will try later), the enemy will try to shoot you through their teammates/own turrets and it’ll never get even a scathe. And with the turret’s height, you got a pretty sweet cover there to crouch on, an just to note, crouching greatly improves accuracy so…:smiley:

yeah the turret body shield works real well
