Hi!
I’ve just finished a fun project called “Loffy’s Tram” (version 1).
You can read more about it here (and download the pk3)!:

Got it
Soon as I get my router fixed tonight I’ll put this one up on the Arduis-server to see what it looks like wee
Hi Fenris!
I started this baby well before the other tram clone was released. I wanted to make a blocky tram-look-a-like for all you tram-fans out there. My map is not a decompile (although it has the same overall measurements as the original) - rather, each brush is handmade from scratch. (= it’s kind of ugly here and there.)
I’ve also tried some alpha fade terrain texture blending on some of the hills. Just to learn this technique.
It has a high fps (due to few details).
Airstrikes are disabled on the whole map.
It is only possible to put mines in 2-3 places.

Hmm, hehe, to make an evil movie comparison, there’s nice clowns and then there’s the clown in “IT” by Stephen King…
Or… I kind of recognize enough of my old classic all time high favorite to judge this as an evil bastard map. This could be quite fun.
Haven’t had time to look at it very much, the missus claims I should spend more time with her than my computers :moo: , so it’s up on the Arduis-server with 10 mbps webdownload, but the server still lags a bit since I still haven’t located the cabling/routing error :banghead:
Still should work good enough tonight to have a decent look at.
Btw I get a download error on your link on all my machines, so I had to remove the “1” from the zipfile-name in the link, and then the download would start, though still containing a “1” in the name ? Some html error maybe ?
Oh, and I do like the christmas tree in the lower tram tower
Yup, ur right. The correct dl link was http://www.acc.umu.se/~loffy/mapping/loffystram/loffystram1.zip
I’ve corrected it now.
Yes, this is an “interesting” version of the original map.
I should add that I really tried hard to improve the survival rate for the allies on this map. It’s hard enough to attack uphill!
// Loffy (singing “My Way”)
Would that be the original My Way, or the Sex Pistols alternate version perhaps… ?
I see you have been busy loffy…I got your map and will try it out…:)…cant wait to see what you have put together…
GG Loffy! We will try to set it up asap on our Betamaps servers to give it a fair test! :fiesta:
Kind of like the icebreakers or oiltankers, old, rusty but yet robust, though noone can’t see a thing out any window so let’s just hop on board and lets hope we don’t run into something…
Kind of like the icebreakers or oiltankers, old, rusty but yet robust, though noone can’t see a thing out any window so let’s just hop on board and lets hope we don’t run into something… :P[/quote]With it being that robust, would it matter if it ran into something?
Just as long as you’re not the thing it runs into, of course!
Yep. Right on
Though I have heard rumours of a few oiltanker related problems, but I’m probly going too much off topic here anyway.
Thx for the posting Xam!
I just wish I had had the time to finish and release this map before Tram4ET was distributed. Now it looks like a blocky, ugly copy.
Well, onto new projects!
