Is it just me who “feels” like there are new aimbots around these days? For the past few months, since easy anticheat (or a few weeks after), it was all nice, but now it seems to start over again.
Haven’t met too obvious botting, but strong suspects. A quick google & youtube reveals recent working bots - but maybe it’s always the case, I don’t search when there’s no problem.
And again, I haven’t encountered any stupid enough to make it obvious. Only low-lvl smurfs with too many lucky shots.
Literally have encountered 2 actual hackers in my 400 hours of DB. Sooooo yes, it’s just you.
Come on, becore easyanticheat they were legions. I must have played a dozen of matches (in 800 hours) with instakilling botters. In 400 hours you have obviously played before easyanticheat.
But here I’m talking about the ones intelligent enough to hide it. How do YOU even tell a hacker from a good player? Someone not too dumb will be “assisted”, he’s not gonna instakill everyone and get caught.
And even if you had witnessed only 1 cheater recently, it doesn’t matter, 1 cheater means that there’s an undetected cheat around, and thus that a large part of the community is cheating. A cheat that guy made himself & kept for himself, that’s not the reality.
Anyway, here’s what I could find, all recent but still weeks old, but surely the devs know more than we do:

You may have just gotten unlucky. I haven’t seen any cheaters in a while. When I do see one, I see 2-3 within a span of a few days and then they’re gone. As for the ones who try to hide it, it’s uncommon to find anyone who’s actually that good at hiding it to not get caught. I’ve ran across a few people who will toggle their cheats or turn them off when you spectate them or if they’re accused. I have also seen people who are cheating, but it’s toned down a bit, like center-mass aimbots. Again, these aren’t very common because the normal cheater does it for the reactions so they could care less about a ban.
In the last few months I’ve only seen one cheater I think. That was in Execution (where for some reason I’ve seen the majority of cheaters). I haven’t seen many people that are THAT GOOD to blame my suspicions of them cheating on skill. It happens occasionally, but those level 1-7 players are normally just cheaters when they arise.
So to make it short, I haven’t seen many, if any, cheaters in the last few months. When I do see them, they come in small waves with obvious hacks. The cheaters that try to hide it simply can’t hide it well enough and any decent player recognizes the hacks. In my opinion, aimbots aren’t as common, but wall hacks or “radar” appear to be used more. This is still very rare though and it could just be me going crazy.

That too made me suspect a couple, those that get like the double of the score of the second in the list, and that, when spectated for the rest of the game, don’t progress anymore / suck “on camera”.
I have removed the videos due to no naming & shaming.
There is no point in posting evidence on the forum because support takes care of reports.
The reason most people cheat is because they are attention seeking trolls, that’s something we don’t want them to give.
