Nice update but too late, guys. The competition is already (as good as) dead. You should’ve just rushed out a patch that added spawntimer netvars, really.

@[b]adman more to the point, tons of people left because of a lack of “promod” of any kind
@[b]adman if players were to come again it would likely be because of that

In simple terms they will alter spawn timers but wont let server admins alter them :confused:

Did you read the changelog? Spawn times have been added to the netvars - have patience, I’m sure it’s coming…

To all of you saying nail in the coffin etc, I think you made your mind up on this a long time ago, it’s probably best you walk away now before you hurt yourself

Nicely done Badman… Glad you’re content with watching the game fall flat on its face. Enjoy seeing 500 people PEAK playing your game this time next week once the euros are done with ESL.

So what if they’ve been added now? All 691 people left will get to enjoy them. They should have been there from the start and should have been changed weeks ago after every team was full holding the entire time.

But noticed one thing after playing some matches - it seems that names on team mates sometimes disappear for a while, in some situations. I’m pretty sure this is after the patch - found myself hitting team mates a lot more than normal, and looked like others did the same.

Amen to this guy… This game will have a PEAK of 500 people by this time next week… Smart thinking SD… Implement a patch and put in there “we have added the ability to change the spawn times, but for the future…” SMART THINKING.

I’m rather impressed with this update, lots of good changes made. The chatbox and endgame chat are great. Love the weapon rebalances, the frkn3k is like a whole new gun to toy with. Well done.

Thes guys you’re playing are WORKING PEOPLE or COPS. that’s right, police and civies,
NOT military.

How much training with fully automatic rifles do the avg. cop or civilian have?
Why do you think they should have the accuracy of a smite button?
Have YOU ever fired a fully automatic weapon? I have, let me just say,
THEY DONT HAVE LASER ACCURACY.

Like the guy says, “This morning I was feeding my kids breakfast and then I’m given this gun”.
How many rounds do you think that dude’s fired in his life?

It was always random, what the change is that the cone pattern is a little less central. The gun is as accuracte as it has always been (lying within the crosshair), it’s just not as likely to hit the central dot 9 times outta 10. SMGs have always been awesome close, mid range bullet dispensers and they still are. They’re still great when moving and jumping around. These changes only stop SMGs from being able to mow people down from 1km away, which was kinda the issue (since rifles were being outclassed).

That carb-9 weakness has always been the recoil, we just enhanced a little to bring it in line. the other changes are very negligible, even smaller than “slightly”.

I hope you guys can understand why the changes were brought in.

This comment makes so much sense. Also, the game is more like a sport than a real military operation. I’m loving it. But I haven’t played the new patch yet. *fingers crossed8

Am I the only one in desperate need of some end-game/end-match stats. I don’t really care about K/D ratio but I would like to see something for my effort. I keep telling myself this will change when the stats page goes up. But I am beginning to wonder if all the bad press, has made SD kill the construction of the stats site and/or the DLC.

At any rate I would love to see the XP I earned for a given match even if it doesn’t increase my maxed 300,000XP. Or tell me the # of objectives completed or SOMETHING.

And why is SD so silent on the stats pg and DLC, of which both have exactly a week to go to make it in the promised “JUNE” time frame.

And finally I would love a Record or Demo mode. TF2 managed to add this. I’m so surprised a game so heavy on stylistic parkour movement would miss something as obvious as record and play back features.

I’m still loving the game and still hopeful, my concerns will be addressed.
