New Brink Parkour vid - Not "Le parkour"

This is true trick jumping. Using that Shark for a second wall jump requires insight and creativity. Who cares if it no longer requires finger accuracy.

What program was used for recording?
Trick jumping in Quake largely involved pressing a single key. : /

Obs required you to be moving at 0 ups/pressing no keys.

Rocket jumping was an entirely different story, too.
How many people actually just ob’d though, mostly hobs and vobs were used in the more complex tricks. And what about the stuff inbetween? Largely involved a single key? Yeah ok lol

Good video indeed, nicely recorded as well. I like the transitions to freecam and playing, wonder how it’s done

(Smokeskin) #25

I’m pretty sure it is just editing. I think it is a VERY nice touch as it helps immensely in finding out where on the map he is actually at.

(Smokeskin) #26

That jump at 0:20, how does he do that? It looks like he makes 2 walljumps on the same wall?

(dommafia) #27

The first jump is just him jumping off of the rails first

(Smokeskin) #28

It isn’t the first jump, it is the second jump, in the shark exhibit. Coming from sec spawn, he jumps it on the right side. I can’t figure that one out…

(dommafia) #29

I know… the jump at the 0:20 second mark… He jumpst onto the rails then jumps off the rails into the wall into the next rails on the other side. It just looks like he jumped off the wall 2x, but he just jumped off the rails first.
