New badge ideas?

Can’t help but notice that there aren’t many badges beyond the really obvious ones like killstreaks and such. I’m creating this thread for people to post ideas for new badges to reward players for doing cool or difficult things.

Some ideas I’ve come up with:

-Guardian Angel: Revive the same player [twice or three times] within 5/10/15 seconds
-Close Call: Get a kill while at <5/10 hp
-Untouchable: Get three kills in 15 seconds without taking damage
-Photo Finish: Complete a primary objective with <15 seconds remaining
-Domination: Kill the same enemy three times without being killed/assisted against by them
-Last Man Standing: Defend/Complete an objective while your entire team is dead (maybe 3 kills while team is dead)
-Reloading!: Get a kill with your primary, secondary, and knife in 15 seconds
-Maid: Finish 3 down enemies within 15 seconds
-Janitor: ^ 4 enemies ^
-Cleaning Crew: ^ 5 enemies ^
-Close Up: Get a kill with a sniper rifle against an enemy within x units of you (very close)
-Long Shot: Get a kill with a shotgun against an enemy farther than x units from you (very far)
-Bull’s Eye: Get 8 kills with headshots
-Headhunter: Get 15 kills with headshots
-Mind Blown: Get 25 kills with headshots
-Eagle Eye: Get a headshot kill on a player who is at least 90 units off of the ground

Not all of them may be viable, but some probably are. I’m sure I’ll end up posting more after some brainstorming and playing. If anyone else has any ideas for new badges or tweaks to my badge ideas or existing badges, this is the place to put them. I hope the devs see this and put some new badges in; that’d be pretty cool.

Brainstorming and playing have yielded more ideas!

-Healing Lvl 1/2/3: Heal teammates by 1000/2500/5000 hp (self-healing doesn’t count)
-Gun Food Lvl 1/2/3: Give teammates 1000/2500/5000% ammo reserves replenished

Explanation: If you have 0 reserve bullets and get an ammo pack, your reserve ammo is 100% replenished. If you have 45 / 90 reserve bullets and get an ammo pack, your reserve ammo is replenished by 50%. This is recommended so that resupplying Vasilli or someone with a shotgun contributes something more substantial than ~20 towards a 1000 requirement

-Blind luck: Kill 5 players that are out of your line of sight (turrets, nades, landmines, etc)
-Blindsided: Kill 10 players ^^
-See No Evil: Kill 15 players ^^
-Hail Mary: Kill 3 players in a single explosion out of your line of sight
-Wrong Wire: Kill a player with exploding C4 while they are defusing the C4
-Mutual Medicine: Revive a player who revived you (must be same life for both as when they revived you)
-M.A.D.: Kill a player who has killed you within three seconds
(Stands for Mutually Assured Destruction)
-Gib Fest: Kill and instantly finish 5 enemies with explosives
-Gore Galore: ^^ 10 enemies
-Bloodbath: ^^ 15 enemies

Again, probably not all viable, but if I post enough ideas one is bound to be acceptable to the devs eventually. Thanks for your likes on the original post by the by, and feel free to discuss the merits and problems of my ideas as well as your own.

I really like a lot of those ideas. Especially the Maid/Janitor/Cleanup as it would make people really focus on gibbing once they figure out how much of a requirement it is in this game.

How about a few more ideas?

-On Call: Revive a teammate who went down at least x units away from you (far away)
-Unfazed: Successfully complete an objective after taking damage while completing the objective
-Surprise!: Kill 3 enemies who are completing an objective without dying and without letting the enemy team complete the objective
-Destruction Lvl 1/2/3: Neutralize 8/15/25 enemy devices (turret, heartbeat sensor, landmine, etc)
-Nesting: Kill 8 enemies with the MG nest without dismounting the MG
-Joyride: ^^ EV’s MG ^^
-Data Gore: Get a kill with a Data Core / Drug Sample
-Out Of My Way!: Get a kill with a Data Core / Drug Sample, then deliver the Core / Sample without dropping it
-Yoink!: Return a Data Core / Drug Sample that the enemy attempted to deliver
-Distracted: Kill an enemy with melee while they are mounted on the MG nest
-Bullet Hose: Kill 3 enemies with the MG nest without letting go of the fire button
-***: Take 500 damage without dying
-Man Of Steel: Take 1000 damage without dying
-Lead Poisoning: Take 1500 damage without dying

*** The word for someone who enjoys pain is filtered out by this site. Dunno why. If you don’t know the word, google it.

So, that totals 42 new badge ideas. Even if my success rate is only 2% for good badge ideas, it ain’t such a long shot that something’ll get added by the devs. Still interested in seeing what other people think about my ideas, still interested in hearing ideas from other people.

Really like a lot of the ideas, and you even came up with some great names. Not sure how many, and how quickly will be added (extra programming necessary); plus there is the issue of balancing XP rewards.

I was just thinking about the new gamemode the devs have planned, execution, and I see some potential for some badges specifically for games of execution.

-Executioner: Win a round of execution without any teammates getting any kills.
-One Man Army: Win a round of execution by getting at least 3 kills after all of your teammates die
-Down And Out: Finish 3 enemies in a round of execution
-Rescuer: 5 revives in a single round of execution
-Salt The Wound: Get the last kill in a round of execution with a melee weapon or defibrillator
-Still Alive: Win a round of executioner without dying after being revived
-Perfection: Win a round of executioner without any deaths on your team
-Be Objective: Plant C4 after all of your teammates die
-Posthumous: Win the round by planting C4 that explodes after you die
-Out With A Bang: Win the round by planting C4 that explodes after you and your entire team dies
-Ninja’d: Defuse the C4 without any enemies dying

I’m still sorting through ideas. I’ll probably come up with versions of my other suggestions in an execution format, though I’m sure more than one will end up being redundant when combined with the standard badges.

Jack of all Trades: Get x number of kills with each of the mercs in your roster for that match.

So, I haven’t been playing lately, so I wasn’t aware of the new badges with the update. But, it seems like a bunch of my badge ideas have actually been implemented. Woo! Not sure how many were already planned or whatever, but I still feel validated.

Now that I’m back, how about I throw out some new ideas in celebration.

-Unfinished Business: After being revived, kill the enemy that killed you
-Deja Vu: Kill an enemy three times who has been revived twice without dying
-Savior: Kill an enemy who has brought a teammate’s health below 15%
-Trauma Doctor: Heal 5 teammates that have health below 15%
-True Love: Walk through fire to revive a teammate
-Shot Put: Heal/give ammo to a teammate with a direct hit health kit/ammo pack thrown x units
-Accurate 1/2/3: Finish a round with 75%/85%/95% accuracy
-Parkour: Get a kill in mid air after wall jumping twice
-Sight Unseen: Kill an invisible player with an explosion
-Plan C: Kill an enemy with melee while your primary and secondary weapons are empty
(No ammo in clip, there can be ammo in reserve)
-Hypocritical Oath: Kill 3 enemies with the defibrillator
-Still Standing: Kill 3 enemies while below 15% health

These are some very good ideas all in all but i do have to say that this would lead to the fact that for every poop you do ingame you get an badge. That means you would permanently receive badges during the whole duration of the game and the amount of exp gained would aswell increase significantly. (Not that the latter is particular bad, it would need some tweaking though.)

PS:As an example, if you throw a nade and kill 3 enemies you would already get 4+ badges if for example we implent all of your ideas. More is good but there is a limit where it gets too much, so we should focus first on badges which award you for something usefull which isnt already granting an badge in any way. (The finishing downed people for example is a very good one, however i might would have do it as total like finish 15/25/35 people in a game.)

Well, I don’t expect all of my ideas to be implemented. I just post all of the ideas I have and the devs can choose to implement whichever ones they want to. It’s a “can’t win if you don’t try” sort of thing; an idea I don’t post is an idea that isn’t going to be implemented.

Just finished playing a game where someone on my team defused a C4 during overtime with 1 second left on the timer. Bing, badge idea.

-Clutch: Defuse C4 with less than 7 second remaining on the timer during overtime

Karma Chameleon: Kill a merc with his/her own ability somehow, Defib a medic to death, Kill a recon with a melee or headshot, Have a merc you’ve damage die from fall damage.
