new archatypes in the new trailer!

(LastGun) #1

:cool:ok so if someone could post pictures of the beggining part of the trailer it has a whole lot of new archatypes. one for the resistance that looked realy good was “the lost” its a fur jacket that looks like something cloud would wear. and i didnt really pay cloase attention to the security ones but i did see “the tank”,“the bouncer”,“the tank vest”, “the eel”, and “the unit”.

if you guys see more post a picture or just describe what you see.

edit* i saw a wide variety of facial hair. new jackets for resistance that i saw were: “the cannibal” and “the Boiler suit”

Yeah, I’m definitely using that fur-lined jacket. Easily my new favorite Resistance top.

(LastGun) #3

did you see that white masked character that the operative killed? i think im gunna go for a futuristic white assassin look for my security guy and a light desert roamer with the sweat face gear on for the resistance.

I’m pretty sure that white mask was the Sloani mask you get with the Spec-Ops pre-order pack, colored white. It looks pretty cool like that, gotta say.

I’m still watching and re-watching that trailer, trying to spot as many new things as I can.

why focusing on “archatypes” instead of provide FULLY-modular character customisation ?
procedurally-driven/based animation can allow that with marginal[if any]overhead.

(LastGun) #6

idk it just seems easier to i dentify diffrent clothing types by using their archatype names.

I dont understand customisation really…

for example, i want to change jacket…when i enter, what option do i see?

the sweat
the dude
the g

and then i enter the sweat and there are like 5* jackets for sweat archeotype?

*random number

(TJskwared) #8

no just that 1

I understood that you can pick an archetype to be a base for your customization, then add or remove any individual part to your liking. Like using the G as a base and substituting a different shirt.

(JeP) #10

But you can choose its color.

(Mike XL) #11

I was assuming that there would be clothing options not related to any archetype. Am I wrong?

(gostlyfantom) #12

the lost(fur lined coat) looks awesome

(Nail) #13

lol, I look at Brink as a shooter, some seem to look at it as "The Sims:Combat Evolved:

I still want a nice suit with a fedora

(Fluffy_gIMp) #14

Yes there are a bunch of colour/material/decal options for almost every bit of clothing.

(DouglasDanger) #15

Oh, this is neat. Thanks for sharing. Could you elaborate on the decal thing?
