New AntiCheat System (BlackCipher.exe) causing me to lost 20+ fps.

(Black) #1

I’m very happy about the new implemented anticheat, however I’m noticing that I literally just lost 20 fps when the new anitcheat update came out. Instead of running 60 fps im now running 40 fps.

If I go and look in my task manager I see that i take up like 50% of my cpu.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Will lowering BlackChiper.exe’s priority help?

what card you have ? Bcause i dont see any difference in fps on my 980gtx

For me the same. Since the new update I have a lot of lag, I play the game by “hits” (I dont know how to state it better) and it takes 50% of my cpu.

But I don´t know if it is because of the new AC system or if it is another thing.

It is happening to you too?

I am going to get 500 people yelling at me for saying this…

but…

Upgrade to windows 10.

I’m using a laptop, intergrated intel HD 4400 GPU.

So Yeah of course not the best for gaming but the 20 fps drop off due to this new anticheat is ridiculous. I’ve tried lowering the priority of it but for some reason it goes right back up to normal.

I highly doubt upgrading my OS to 10 is going to help reduce the amount of CPU used for the anti cheat.

The fps increase is very minimal…

That’s not including DX12. DX12 is able to increase performance by up to 100%.

Sure but the devs don’t seem like they are implementing D12 into DB anytime soon.

Dev will more likely never implement Directx 12 by what people said…
It seem like the game is running on an old Directx 9. And the version of the unreal engine used don’t support Directx 12. The best SD can do is upgrading to Directx 11 but i don’t think it will happen any time soon. SD is very slow and they have other priorities (anti-cheat fix, bugs, basic optimisation, merks, trade card, maps, competitive feature…). If we see it one day, it will be at the very end of the game developpement. See you in 2 years ^^
