hello men, how are you and how is your modding going?
I have made a new animation for swinging the Japanese blade. heres some pics.

standing with the blade held

swinging over the blade then…

slashing!

the Japanese blade itself is made by [N]KENGAKUSAN .

this file includes another animations. “kick” is one of those animations included, i wanted to assign kicking animation to the action such as “pushing someone” in ETpro. unfortunately i have no skill at coding. so i wish someone would use this for his mod.

not so tricky :slight_smile:
i made the mds with animations normally, and cut mds into mdx.
the advantage of the mdm&mdx system is not only for saving memory but also for flexible model and aniamtion system. due to it, i could easily add the new animations to the existing system.

Ikanatto, theres a bit of a problem now. Pants’ MDS tutorial is no longer available. :frowning:

NVM, I just found it on my HDD. :clap: I d/led it in August of 2002. :slight_smile:

sonuk, do you also have the weapon tutorial? If you could send them to me, I would be happy to host them. I’ve found them extremely helpful, and I would hate to see them lost from the web.

Chavo, yes, I have got the weapons one as well. Our mod team leader suggested we might host them ourselves, but I’ll tell him of your offer. I’ll probably upload it to our FTP at some stage today (we have public-access areas too).

The 2 tutorials are about 3 Mb zipped (they include the plugins needed).
