So Downed fire is a 5th rank ability. And I think you only get one of those?

So to take downedfire you have to give up the “best” class abilities like the laz nade? that kinda sucks.

Hopefully you can save skill points to use once you hit rank 5, cuz that’s a hard choice.

Nice list! Just thought I’d chip in my $0.02.

That other unknown Universal ability you’re talking about I assume is the one represented by the lighting picture with upward pointing arrows next to it, my guess is that is faster supply pip recharge (mostly just from the fact that I’ve heard it from dev interviews multiple times all over the place).

Gearhead I know is an ability that allows you to repair and deploy turrests(?) faster, heard it from one of the dev interviews when the preview NDA lifted, can’t remember the exact interview I’m afraid.

Regarding the Operative abilities, my thoughts are that the remote control is the ability to hack things from a distance/greater distance (this one is kind of a guess since I’m basing it on a dev saying way, way back that the Operative could gain the abiility to hack from a distance). The finger pointing I thought was homing beacon, just becuase I thought Operatives could spot enemy Operatives and mines without needing an ability (could easily be wrong about this one though, faintly recall some dev talking about it ages ago).

Finally for the Soldier abilities, for the one you’re saying might be Ammo buff/Incendiary ammo (and I’m assuming it’s the one with two magazines with a plus sign next to them) I believe is the ability to increase your/teammates ammo capacity, this is also from the batch of interviews that came out when the NDA lifted.

I believed that operatives can hack from anywhere once they place the hack box.

I wonder if the smoke/caltrops grenade will harm your team mates with FF on? It would be weird to combine smoke with something that could harm your team mates (unless there’s an alt fire for it that lets you deploy it without the caltrops).

RE: the EMP nade needing to do more since it’s the highest level ability. Slowing a bomb timer is HUGE.
