Wouldn’t it be great if they neft the free rotation mercs and only if you purchase it or already have purchased it you can use its full potential . I know from own experience that it is really anoying random newbies runing around with op mercs and pissing me off when failing my gameplay .

For instance like the bushwhacker right now it could be nerfed for players who haven’t bought, it like lower weapon damage lower turret damage lower merc and turret hp not allowed to use loadout cards maybe more cool down to abilities .

I dont know it’s just an idea that may keep the players playing even though those “Le wild newbies” .

I know that the free rotation is a good thing in the game but making credits is really easy and if you would like to play with that merc you can buy it .

Making an actual argument against your idea.

Firstly, OP mercs are another debate entirely, though I will say that when “OP Mercs” are in the free rotation, like Rhino, they become lesser threats since everyone learns how to deal with them.

Secondly, if there are any truly OP mercs, then they should be nerfed for ALL players. It doesn’t make any sense for only some players to have nerfed mercs while other players have normal mercs.

The point of the free rotation is so that players can test out mercs before buying them. Nerfing the free rotation mercs is like handing out poisoned free samples.

Thirdly, noobs will always be a problem unless you played ranked. But complaining about noobs on the opposing team is nonsensical imo, since they’re just easy kills. I will say that the free rotation is problematic in pub matches due to over stacking of a single merc. Like having too many vassilis. But that’s a different issue.
