Beta 2 of NEMO is now up for grabs. This is the 2nd of 3 comp maps currently in development.

Seems I missed out on beta 1 or it wasn’t public.
This map looks good according to the screenies, I hope my Geforce 256 can handle the foliage.

heheh beta1 was sorta public/private
but the foliage shouldnt give you too much of a prob as its not very heavily placed.

Note: In allied limbo, there’s no description for the gun when you go over the dynamite on the command map.

Questions and Whining: (ignore if appropriate)

  • I couldn’t find out the use of the two passages towards the “death pit”. For what I tried, you can’t breach the pit there by normal jumping, so what’re they there for?
  • Maybe a notice should be put at the gap for the side entrance that only a disguised cov op can give acces trough there? (Or did I miss a passage down there?)

i just put it up on my clan server and checked it out,
textures look good and the foilage doesnt seem to
bother my fps at all. but the map is way to easy!
the gun controls should have been hidden way in the
bottom of the complex or it should be some type of duel
objective type map.
it needs to last a LOT longer then it does, just my opinion.

Keep in mind this is a comp map intended for league play. Generally, league maps favor allies and have relatively short cap times (10 - 15 min). If it were a pub map, you are absolutely right, it would be way to short… but that isnt the case here.

any way you can change it and have a version for both pub and comp??
its a cool looking map with a lot of potential.

I dont see why not, It wouldnt take much. I can probably release a version for pubs after I get a final release.

if you do make one for pub, a few different objectives would be really cool
have a few blowable objectives or something??
need to use more of the map since its so big!
