You can’t really convert the player models, SD hasn’t released any tools that will let you work with the format. You can get weapons though.

I know i know …

But in my firyt Post i habe writed that i need the RTCW or ET Models.

And the RTCW models can be Covertet!

(duke'ku) #6

You can do it yourself with Milkshape 3D IIRC.

(Jesus\\) #7

Nope i can`t open the body file

(kat) #8

ermm what modelling app are you using?? You say in the topic heading this is for MAX 5 and then say you don’t have MAX 5???

:???:

You might be able to convert the RtCW models using the MDS/C model viewer, I don’t know if it’s been set up to do that though

(Jesus\\) #9

Cinema4D

and WTF ís the MDS/c Model viewer :???:

(duke'ku) #10

a viewer for rtcw player models :moo:

(kat) #11

yeh as the duke mentioned it’s a program used to view models that have the *.mds & *.mdc file format that most of the new assets for RtCW were converted to.

I’ve not used any myself but I do use one for Quake3 and the MD3 format which exports models to DXF and VRML formats so I assumed the viewers I have seem for RtCW can do the same?? You’ll need to look

don’t expect too much though, i don’t see why you would want to create a movie in c4d, working with the models isn’t going to be much fun.
