Need teams for showmatch on the 28th of May at 19:00 BST

Hello everybody! The showmatch idea has been given the green light by devs/staff!

We need to put 2 teams of 5 together to participate in a showmatch. The showmatch will be recorded live and given to Splash Damage as video content. It will also be commentated. We want to find the teams by Monday the 20th of May so that we can have 2 teams who are focussed on playing and really giving a great show for the video.

For this one we are only looking for 2 teams, but I can assure you that we will be doing more of these. Perhaps every 2 weeks, and we will rotate the teams if we have enough. Post your team name and lineup in this thread. Only 1 person from each team should register the team’s interest. That person will be the contact for that team. If you want to make a mixteam for this, please feel free! Make sure your players are willing to put a little bit of effort into some tactics.

I’d love to do something like this but I’ll wait til the performance updates are done and maybe once my framerate stabilizes I can flex my mouse muscles enough to find a team :smiley:

This game will probably have a couple of shoutcasters. I will be there for one, nail might also make an appearance. If you are interested in casting let either me or Sean know asap!

Yep ! I think if there is 3 or 4 team it can be fun to and make some more match the next day.
I actually check with all my mates to know if everyone can play at this date.

Can be fun to make another AIE vs Biatch cause last time we play we were about the same level and fight were really fun.
But where are you Biatch ?

Teams more than welcome to play against each other on the following days as well (actually, I encourage them to do so), but these showmatches will be once every 2 weeks for now.

Ideally I would want a team of players who have been playing for some time. Don’t want people who don’t know their way around the maps, etc.

haha believe it or not Playing ducks is apparantly an organization rather than a made up name on the spot… http://www.playing-ducks.com/ and the organization is sponsored by Tt.

I would suggest the sGs guys for this but i havent seen zernok or apoc in DB for a while & no idea about Dthy or gfn (they both have rarely played the game recently) so will be impossible to arrange a time when they are all around and therefore if they did somehow come together there will not be any pre planned tactics formed which i guess you are looking for.

Whats the point of this showmatch btw?
