Need some help with splines

Ok im sure this has been covered to death and I aplogize if this exact topic has been already discussed, but I couldn’t find it by searching.

Basically I am shooting for multiple tanks/cars/trucks, being able to flip either onto their side or on the backs if possible.

I know I can call it on death so the question is how to get the movement down?

I tried flipping a tank on its back and it didn’t want to cooperate, and I know its possible because in venice the truck does it… so can anyone explain to me or create a simple prefab on how to get a a truck/tank to flip on its side on death?

I know venice’s truck did it after the tank blew it up but I want it everytime it gets broken (yes i know this is weird but its for a specific purpose)

Search for faceangles.

faceangles <pitch> <yaw> <roll> <duration/GOTOTIME> [ACCEL/DECCEL]

The entity will face the given angles, taking <duration> to get their. If the GOTOTIME is given instead of a timed duration, the duration calculated from the last gotomarker command will be used instead.

I looked found a few hints about it, but still am having issues with this, when I rotate an object it shoots way up into the the air, and I obviously don’t want that, I want a nice smooth motion like on venice.

Is there any more info you can give me on how he accomplished this? I pmed him but unfortunatly it seems he lost his source for most/all of his maps. :confused:

i cant see a very easy wany of doing thice since you would be to have or origin right by the side of the truck to allow it to flip. Thats the best i could thing of doing

actulay making the truck go all the way over is imposible with only one spline path i think. Not to mention how foolish it would look if it just catches a little bit of damage from a far away grenade then flips onto its side
