Need some help w. curves/walls/visibility

(JungLo) #1

I have a curved surface (tunnel) but I want to have a ladder going to another level. How can I ‘fill in’ the spaces above?

Perhaps I should make the ladder to through the floor? :-\ I wanted it to go up, but I guess it could go down if I can’t figure this out.

PS: Is there an IRC channel where us noobs can go to ask quick questions?

Try using the cap button (4th from the right on the line of buttons at the top of radiant) with your roof pieces selected. If they are odd shapes it might not work, but you could make your own out of a simple patch.

is the ceiling a bevel/end cap or patches? and in any case - do u want to place another curved part of the ceiling in front of the ladder or just conseal the patches?

I ended up just putting the ladder through the floor.

I had wanted to make another wall piece that would fit the wall behind and the beveled wall, but decided that it was too much of a pain in the butt to figure it out. The floor is actually working out fine.

thanks for the replies.
