Need some help making the files

I’ve made a small map just so that I can try to make sure its going to work, im useing, GtkRadiant 1.4 for ET/RTCW.

When i finish the map and try to run it (/devmap mapname) it comes up after attempting to load it and tells me something like “this map is not a valid starting campaign, set mode to 2 to load it directly”. and it wont load up in the list even after i made the .pk3 file, anyone know where im making the mistake? i’ll be happy to send it to someone if they want but im realey just stuck here =(

it say’s Set your gametype to 2 to load it directly (and /set_gametype 2 does nothing)

In console, before loading the map

/sv_pure 0
/g_gametype 2
/devmap <yourmap>

also if it doesn’t load (awaiting challenge… 0 for aaaaaaaaaaaages), clear your etmain dir and try to get rid of as many non official pk3 files as possible… they fuck up the loading proces for one reason or another…
