Hey dudes, I was hoping you who knows this kind of stuff would be nice and shared some basic shaders with me. What I need is shader for: brick or betonwall, window (trans), asphalt and a shader that gives a surface light… very thankful in advance

textures/sfx/safety_glass
textures/sfx/tramglass2
For brick/beton it’s almost uneeded to make a shader if you don’t want special effects, by default the noise is the right one. Same for asphalt (or do you mean want something different for these?).

thanx Mateos… I was only thinking about the wall textures so they stop the light if you get what I mean
If you mean light bleeding up and down the wall, it’s a building geometry problem editor-side with t-junctions more than a shader problem;
Or is it through textured entities? There’s a lightblock shader for that but never got it to work 
ok, then we say never mind… do you know how much a window need to be trans to work with shader?
This I don’t know, you may test different transparency values, like you make 4 files (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%), copy/pasted shaders, inject in a test map, compile and see what is/are the best ones
Or maybe someone else can give an exact value with some luck 
ok, prob have to make them more trans then… because you cant see through them ingame yet… or maybe i wrote something wrong in the shader… wouldnt be the first time…lol
ok problem solved… used a wrong shader…
it was a window shader but i had to use the
textures/sfx/safety_glass and fix it with that one…
