Need skinners/texture artist and animaters for ET LIVE FIRE

I need help i want to change some gun skins around pluse add some new guns to ET Right now i am currently making a Big mod for ET called ET LIVE FIRE and i want to add some thing in to it pluse make some changes

Things i want to change:

  1. Change the mg42 to a Browning 30.cal for the allies
  2. Change the panzerfaust to a bazooka for the allies
  3. Add some new guns to both side like Bar to the allies and a greas gun fro axis etc.
  4. Add more guns to the classes etc. (like enginer class etc)

I need a gun animater a Skiners and a texture artists.

Please Pm me if you know any people who have any of theses skills. Or if there are any projects out or in the procces of making new guns for ET. Thanks!

maddog what exactly has been started on this mod so far? have u changed any weapon specs or anything
also playing ur mod on the normal et maps will make it sucky and u should consider getting a mapper

im pretty sure i have heard live fire before so check on moddb if it is taken

i dont mean to sound negative to the idea of army-type mods and cs type mods but all of them will be superseeded by urban terror
u need something that will make ur mod stand out, ofcourse u must have more ideas than new weapons that have been used over and over before
or basically everything used in mohaa

and if u have no programming experience, and cant texture/model for shit what exactly is ur part in the mod? ofcourse i doubt it will even get up to the stage where it needs a readme

Here is what i got from the makers of Urban Terror


"Silicon Ice Development is announcing their intent to port Quake 3 Urban Terror over to Enemy Territory. They have been discussing this for awhile now with id Software and Splash Damage, and have decided to move forward with their plans.

Basically this mean Urban Terror will become a FREE stand-alone game and it will not be a mod for Enemy Territory but use it’s game engine, which is a beefed-up Quake3 engine. Oswald the project manager said this:

“We are porting what we have in Urban Terror for Quake 3 over to Enemy Territory. It will be FREE and it will be STAND ALONE. So those people who complained of legit keys or not being able to find Quake 3, rejoice, you will be able to play”

" Once Urban Terror is ported, it too, will be a free, stand alone game. I do not believe we will consider it a mod any longer."


My MOD:

So far we have gotten all real sounds for the guns new gun skins, new Player skins, new sounds for wind, grass, tug, footsteps, etc all the sound pretty much have been changed in the mod there are only few that haven’t been changed but might be. And also we are right now working on a graphic and texure mod for ET.

I know how to skin but I need more skinners and texture artist to help me out for changing the guns around. Like for example you know when the Thompson is laying on the ground it looks like shit the handle looks like a piece of straight wood and the wood part of the back that goes under the arm is totally made wrong. I need someone who can change those thing on some of the guns to look more realistic in game. Also I have found pics of all the guns and what there serial numbers are and what writing they have on the guns like manufacturer the caliber, etc. and we are going to put those things on the gun.

You say that you dough that this mod will make it to the read me file well your wrong this mod was suppose to be out last month but I wanted to add more to this mod and everyday I am thinking of new things for it and we are just adding more and more to it. Also we are going to add moaning sounds for when the player dies they will moan in agony. and you know when you are in game and then you here this voice command saying “revive me! or Heal me” well we got all of those commands and more and we are going to put this into the v say chat. My purpose in this mod is that ITS MY IDEA TO MAKE THIS MOD and I did most of the research and hired people to help my team and I out. I found all of the photos and most of the gun vids etc. for this mod. I helped with some skinning and a little texture work for the guns and player skins. But I am no good with texture and of course my team and I need animators to add the guns in and also to make changes to them and to change the Rates of fire for the guns and a lot of other fixes and add-ons to the game I have thought of.

Urban Terror, not urban territory. And SID has since stated that you will (almost certainly) have to download ET to play URT / ET. What any of that has do with your mod, I’m not sure. :moo:

im just saying, there is nothing you have stated that your mod will have over urban terror apart from been set 50 years back

also, its sad to hear that u spent money on people to help u out, when u need modelers/skinners/programmers and u say u did all the research
what exactly did the people do?

i hope u are implementing new maps as it looks like the only difference between ur mod and mohaa

Where did you here i hired people for money? Are you crazy! I would never hire people for money.

What i said before i did all the research and gave it to my team to make the skins from the photos i found of the player uniforms and the Guns etc. I helped out with some of the work on making the skins for the guns and uniforms. But Konigstiger is making all the sounds work form the vids and recordings we both did. And we are currently working on a Graphic and texture addition for the mod. (still a debate over if we will put it on or not)

And know that you mention it i am taking it under advice to put new maps to my mod. But first i just want to get done with the things i have complications with like finding more skiners/texture artists and animaters. Then i will ask someone to make maps for my mod. so by the time we compile everything together the maps will be done and so will the mod at the same time. Then we will release it to the public. And we might have to break the mod into two downloads because of how big it is already and if i am going to make the changes i want and add new maps the mod will be well over 100+ mb. (hell its almost already over 100 mb I think?)

Yes that is correct we almost have 100 mb worth of corrections or close to that.( and that does not include what i still want to add in to the mod like the guns and the correction of the gun how they look and the rates of fire pluse the new graphics and textures fix and the new voice scripts plsue moaning sounds etc.

Remark:
If you will use nazi symbols (like the cross) in your mod it would be illegal for germans to download and to play your mod.

Well yes it would be illegal, and i am talking to my team to make two mods one for everyone with the nazi symbols etc, and one with no Nazi symbols for the German people. But we are still talking about it. 50/50 chance of putting out 2 mods.

Also i asked Bacon, Balr 4, and CaptianBob1944 to help me out with the mod.

Blar 4 will be macking 3 new maps for my mod that i have asked him to do and he will port one of his famous maps Normandy Breakout to ET! And the other two will be nice spacious maps that are very big with many objectives. They will be based kind off like Fuel Dump and Gold Rush maps.

Bacon will be making a ad on mod witch will fix many thing in the game like engineers using there pliers under water and field Ops can use there ammo distribution under water same ass medics will be able to use there needle and alot of other fixs.

CaptianBob1944 will help with the gun rates and alot of other things for the mod.

We are still looking for those skinners/texture artist and animaters to add and change the guns.
