It may be good to start an NA IRC channel we can gather in… I haven’t played in a long time, the only game I was able to get in on ended being several stalemates (defensive hold on second obj), and everyone left feeling sad and never came back…

I think we all agree it has great potential. They just really need to follow through and make some strong changes in certain areas. We’ll see in time.

Would be nice if we could create groups to add friends too. For instance, I am currently adding those I see from the forums that I can tell from their info box on the left, that they are from NA. What would be cool, is if I could have a way to create a group called “NA” for example and add them to that group. Then if I see 4 or so members of that group online, I could send a group wide message or invite to a server. Would be great for clans as well. Have a clan group. Get a random challenge from another clan on the fly. Send a message to your clan’s group with a message, “need 3 more for a quick scrim” and get your guys rounded up for a quick scrim.

Just a thought.

Maybe just create something like a dirtybomb.NA steam group and invite everyone from NA you know that has it? I kind of get tired of opening the browser just to see no one on. I’ve played only a couple times and it’s always been in EU servers as others have mentioned. High ping isn’t that big of an issue when I tried it, but that really isn’t the point – it’s the times at which you CAN play.

I just joined the Alpha and I live in California. This game has my full attention and I would like to try it with some other NA players.

I’m just hanging out in an NA server right now because on the launcher it said this was the designated “Play Testing” time. Btw, what exactly does that mean?

I’ll probably idle in this server for another hour or so if anyone wants to join me!

I just had a thought, I’m sitting in Ventrilo talking to a bunch of my friends who can’t afford to become alpha test players themselves.

I feel like I am unable to properly alpha test the game without any players to shoot at. Has SD thought about adding an alpha invite system? Give the alpha players or founders a limited amount of invites (those invites can expire if needed). At least it would give a chance for us to alpha test the game because we are likely to log in and play as a group.

I keep adding the NA players I see from the forums to my friends list. Sadly though, whenever I fire up the launcher, for days/hours at a time, I never see anyone from that list online.

Just spent 4 hours running around in the NA Casual server. First time playing this game, a few others showed up here and there. Is there any specific day of the week and time where everyone should aim at getting on and playing? That might be easier for people to work towards.

Wasn’t there a bug a few months ago when some people who bought access received a second key by mistake?
iirc SD let them keep it once they fixed the issue.
