Different laptop than the machine you usually play on?

Try updating (or rolling back) DirectX, GPU drivers .NET Framework.

you just keep retrying to launch mate. I have also had the same recently… once it started it was fine afterwards

Only my textures are modded in cfg, I gladly recieve extra FPS increasing tweaks;)

@Pixel it happens when playing the game within minutes after loading a map: Game freezes then exit.

I think what INF3RN0 meant was try using stock config to see if it helps.
