Take a look at this forum post.
http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7714
Download the file and take a look at how the .pk3 is setup and look at the contents of the sky shader.
Weirdo, these people are trying to help you. Just look at the shader … yours is obviously flawed.
And learn to explain your problem better.
Fate, smartass whats wrong here
textures/applee/mudskipper/mudskipper_skybox
{
qer_editorimage textures/applee/mudskipper/mudskipper
surfaceparm noimpact
surfaceparm nolightmap
q3map_sun 1.00 0.80 0.60 90 270 35
q3map_surfacelight 50
skyparms env/applee/mudskipper/mudskipper - -
}
aren’t you supposed to define your horizon angle, like in the default shaders:
skyparms textures/skies_sd/wurzburg_env/sky 512 -
skyparms env/applee/mudskipper/mudskipper - -
even if its just skyparms - 512 -
That skybox shader is almost correct - the “env” in the path is a used in Quake3 maps - try “skyparams textures/applee/mudskipper/mudskipper - -” in the shader file instead - assuming that you have the the files in folder “textures/applee/mudskipper”
If all of that is correct here are a few other things to check:
[ul]Make sure your six textures and the editor image all powers of 2 ie: 128x128, 256x256, 512x512.
Make sure they are they .tga or .jpg
Make sure they are correctly named - mudskipper_up, mudskipper_dn, etc…
Make sure you perform a full vis when you compile your map.[/ul]
Jep that was the prop a typo 1 file was named mudskipper_nd instead dn thats why it was bugged down there;D so, ty =)
