Need help!!! G_AddSpawnVarToken:Max_Spawn_vars

Hi,

I followed now some tutorials and I made now a lot of different test maps to get used to the stuff.

With the new knewledge I stared my own map. I have terrain and a skybox (Yeah, I am really fast :slight_smile: ) I put

  • info_player_deathmatch
  • team_CTF_redspawn
  • team_CTF_bluespawn
  • team_WOLF_objective

(as I did also before) But now I get the following message, when I want to load the map in the game:

G_AddSpawnVarToken:Max_Spawn_vars

I searched at some places, but I didn’t found a hint yet. Can someone here hepo me?

had anyone an answer??? I am still trying and I must admit I have no idea why this came and how I could fix it. I also started from new and I have it again.

You updated the maxs and mins in the world spawn when you made the new map?

Yes I did. I made a new brush and added the new coordinates. I am out of ideas! :banghead:

I got the same error.

I ended up rebuilding my terrain in easygen and exporting it again. I have a feeling it may be linked to setting the skybox shader though.

Everything worked fine after the rebuild (?)

Thanks a lot. After I deleted the skybox everything was fine! Now I have no textures on the terrain anymore but I can solve this I hope :slight_smile:

Hi all!

I had the Max_Spawn_vars problem too. But now i solved with an easy trick that will work if u created ur terrain with easygen! :clap:
Export the map and open it in the gtk. There you will see that if u move a peace of the terrain and undo it u have the hole terrain selected! Now create a new map and copy the selection (terrain) into the new map! Add spawnpoints, import other prefabs and it will work!
