need bind help for fast knife

Hi,

is it possible to bind to one key the following action: switch to melee (keyboard button 3) and use it. Ingame I can bind the slow knife hit, but is it possible to bind the fast knife hit to one key?
Would really like to bind it to mouse2, but need help with it.

Attacking with the knife using the fast hit is the fire key(mouse1). There is no bindable key to switch to a knife and then use it. That would be a macro.

I find it best to bind mouse three to take out the knife, and then it is just a short click away from slash or stab.

I have a Logitech g700s and I have primary secondary melee and key for defib binded to side buttons using Logitech gaming software works great if I could remember I binded them

I wouldn’t get in the habit of using a quick knife since you’ll want to switch to your regular knife constantly for the movement speed increase. Like others here I have my knife on my mouse because of how often I need it and my thumb is always on that button.

Pretty much like @Amerika says, switching weapons on the fly is one of the first things you need to get used to.

My mouwheel can click right and left, so I got my knife on clicking left, and sticky bombs clicking right. Up for secondary, scroll down for primary. Works like a charm!
