Need advice and wisdom

I’m about to start my 8th character and thinking making him a soldier. I hardly ever play soldier to the point the only ability that I’ve invested in soldier with my characters was flashbang. All of my characters so far has been engineer, medics, operative, hybrids. Should I make this character a soldier or a hybrid of soldier with another class.

Second I going to make some of my characters into a light body. Any weapon combo you sugges?

I find with my purebred heavy soldier (the big clown in my avatar) that I select all the universal abilities except perspective and tactical scanner, all the soldier abilities and I still have 3 or 4 points left over to dedicate to one of the other classes. Usually I choose medic options since switching to a medic can be useful most of the time but on this char I have ops abilities, emp nade, caltrops, stickybomb.

On my soldier I stopped using satchels in place of palm nade. I have palm nade, flashbang and petrol bomb as my usuables.

As for the light player well personally mine is a purebred ops with medic abilities using up the remaining level points. On this char I use my caesar revolver (you can use the ritchie without psycho pack) and I switch between silenced bauldpan and drummed up carb 9 depending on the situation.

Thanks appreciate it. I have the doom pack. I’m not the best shooter in the world so I have to think alot. When comes to the chokepoint I usaully fly in and out or work the line from the back. Once again thank you very much.

Your welcome  I’m sure some of the other guys here will weigh in with their suggestions too.

My other suggestion would be if your going soldier use medium or heavy body type and if you do, try and master the Rokstedi. Its awesome in the right hands.

As a soldier primarily myself, the only ability that I rarely if ever use, is Satchel Charge. All the other abilities I use regularly throughout a match.

So my advice, if you’re going to create a soldier-centric character, is focus on all soldier abilities (minus satchel charge) first, then use up the rest of your points on the universals you prefer, and whatever other single class you find yourself liking/playing the most.

Medic, like Cep suggests, is a good sub-class to buy into. Engineer is too, as they are really good at defense, plus the improved weapon buff is VERY handy.

Ok I’ll try it thanks. I give the rockstedi a go with my new character and some of my past characters I’ll change into lights.

Wisdom is a deep understanding and realizing of people, things, events or situations, resulting in the ability to choose or act or inspire to consistently produce the optimum results with a minimum of time, energy or thought. It is the ability to optimally (effectively and efficiently) apply perceptions and knowledge and so produce the desired results. Wisdom is also the comprehension of what is true or right coupled with optimum judgment as to action. Synonyms include: sagacity, discernment, or insight. Wisdom often requires control of one’s emotional reactions (the “passions”) so that one’s principles, reason and knowledge prevail to determine one’s actions.

Hybrid of Soldier Operative is Wicked Fun! Fill up on Operative then get all the essential destructive Soldier abilities

All my builds are hybrids.
