Hi! I need a script, what can write “Your killer had xy HP”
Where can i download it? How can i use it?

You can’t script that in regular W:ET.

However, ETPro supports LUA extensions which could do this. You will need the permission of the server admin though…

You should check out the ETPro forums for that type of thing since it only applies to that specific mod… and that is where you got the mod from…

How to install?

For the basic announcehp.lua, you need to copy that file to your etpro folder. Then you need the line:

set lua_modules “announcehp.lua”

in either your server.cfg, or if you prefer you can put it in your .config file.

Lua scripts get unloaded and loaded again on map changes. If you are trying to use “announcehp_v4.lua” you will need to follow the instructions and create a file called “hpstring.txt” in your working etpro folder and fill it with 64 x 1s. This means you can store persistant data between map changes, which I use in this version to store whether or not a client has turned the /showhpleft function on or off.

My advice, for now just use the basic “announcehp.lua” which is from Bani forums.
