Nda ?

Hello All

Ive been asked lots of Questions about Dirty Bomb and has always refused to say anything

But would i break the NDA if i said i likes it?

Not going to discuss anything gamespecific, just giving my feeling about the game.

Oh and btw, I came here expecting to play WET2 and it is the game i ever played that comes closest tbh  still stuff to be done, but i honestly can say im not disappointed for now

ofc as a Clan/Community Leader looking out for the people im surrounded by when gaming, il soon hope to hear more about the actual servers, as that is where my priorities are tbh.

Gameplay like Movements and Gunhandling and servers is where my interests are.

looking at the maps and find errors there or discussing routes obj not so much

sorry for offtopic, but look at the questiong in bold

If SD allowed us to answer some questions about DB in public they’d have to produce a set of guidelines about what we can and can’t say and spend time moderating our responses based on those. It’s much easier, and much more sensible at this stage (considering it’s still only an Alpha), to simply say “don’t talk about DB in public”.

It’s a pity, because I bet we could drum up a lot of extra sales if we could talk about it.

probably,

but probably its not the best way to get ppl in who do nothing for the game…

ofc it would be nice to tell friends or others about the game that they buy it but dont know if it makes much sense in the actual situation…

we need ppl who help making a better game, not ppl who just play cause they dont know what else they should do and play 1 h pub to rape some guys, thats my opinion

This has always been my biggest concern when it comes to alpha testing. Some people have one-track minds and are only here to get-pro before anyone else touches the game- can’t stop people who value that at $120+. I think we have a enough solid thinking minds in alpha though, which is part of the reason why these forums are so active with really great stuff.

Forcing thread back to On-Topic

true story…

but you are absolutely right! its amazing how many good, active and very well thinking heads we have here with very good suggestions and nice ideas!

answer smiley face and nothing else, no why. you answer that and the pressure is on to say more and more. so dont say anything.
loose lips sink ships.

i talk to my cat about it all the time. nda doesnt cover cats  she’s not overly impressed due mainly to the lack of mice in the game.

Surely people who are doing this also want the game to succeed? I mean, whats the point in being really good at a game that sucks and no one wants to play?

(INF3RN0) #9

The point is that a lot of people say a game sucks if they (1) aren’t good at it (2) it has no prize tournaments- but those really have nothing to do with the quality of the game. A lot of people just want the game to succeed to the extent of their own agenda (be de best win it all). Its always given competitive players a bad rep.

I am a competitve player, not a very good one, but I am looking for a game with quality. If people were only interested in prize money and things like that surely they would stick to CS series, COD and that league of virgins game.

(zeroooo) #11

thats it!

Sid is also full of competitive players, we also played QW in competitive way as long as it was possible…

but most of the ppl are like inferno just said…

(stealth6) #12

Saying “you like it” is a slippery slope. “Why do you like it?” “Well uhh… I like it, because I like it” (You can’t reveal any details about the game not even that it has influences from previous titles etc…)

(xarQi) #13

teams just need to learn to play back for fun again! much teams think they are good/pro and wanna get prizemoney that TOP teams get! i always played competitive for fun, and awards, rankings ! no need for prizes!

(Dragonji) #14

Answering a question “if you like the game” surely will not satisfy your friends. They’ll press you even more to get as much info as possible.

(Runeforce) #15

I guess the real question you have to ask yourself is: how well can I trust these guys? (Which is a personal evalution…but you are still stuck on what-ever outcome.)

To paraphrase Hans Christian Andersen:

“En fjer kan blive til ti høns!”

EDIT: and in IMO you are NOT breaking any NDA by saying that you LIKE IT (no explanation given)!

(rookie1) #16

Saying what it can be see in public trailers anyway(without extending) is… a safe way, imo

(.Chris.) #17

You signed an agreement when you joined up, simple as…

(SockDog) #18

By that justification he could also say it’s terrible, sucks, worst game ever. Isn’t the point of the NDA to hold back opinion and impressions until the product is mature enough to be judged on its own merits.

IMO. You’re in the alpha and that’s all you can say.

(Patriotqube) #19

Well

Nevermind i decided to keep my mouth zipped  was just wondering how far the NDA worked

@Runeforce
Nice to see another Dane around
