The smoke grenade is meant to blind enemies from everything and everyone on the other side (other than RedEye’s you know… eye…) yet only after about 5 matches with him and against him, I have seen that you can see an enemy’s name/marker/etc through the smoke if your crosshair manages to be over them even though they should be invisible to you unless you are using IR. One example was when I was using a Proxy on trainyard i[/i], a RedEye smokes the right flank and I’m on the other end of the smoke. I then proceed to get riddled with bullets. I then ask the enemy that kills me how he saw me, from which he replied “I saw ur name thru the smoke” (not even kidding with the spelling. 
) As well, I later played a match on Chapel where I myself could see enemy names through a RedEye’s or my RedEye’s smoke multiple times in that one match. (And yes I have no screenshots. Apologies.)
