Naders Martyrdom while alive

Been focusing more on Nader lately and today I had the following scenario happening to me :

Fight and get KIA, then started Martyrdom so you can hear beeping countdown. But I got revived, could walk for a second and then Martyrdom went off -> BOOM.

The bug is that somehow I got revived while I had Martyrdom engaged. I experienced a bit of lag when this happened.

I think because it’s not Martyrdom, it’s drop a nade on your corpse, so nade is still there if you get revived.

^This. If it was a suicide bomb of some sort, why would there be a delay between the activation and the explosion during which the nade icon is there for everyone to see?

Point is I somehow got revived even though I activated the Martyrdom …

EDIT : I’ll try and see if this is reproducable

Yeah, check if it happens more often.

I see, haven’t played Nader for a while, but IIRC you should also suicide/kill at the same time as dropping the nade.

So yea, sounds like a timing bug.

Actually I just tried it and you remain incapped but not gibbed until the nade goes off. It’s the explosion that finishes you off, not the activation of martyrdom, so there is a window of a few seconds where you can get revived normally after activating the nade. If you get revived right after the activation or at full health, you might even be able to move far enough to survive the blast.

Thanks for confirming this. Didn’t get a chance to retest it since we were only two playing tonight …
