I think of Martyrdom more like a “keep your distance” type of ability, not by all means anything I personally even attempt to get kills with. First when I saw it I thought it could be used for more middle-eastern style warfare manouvers but for the heck with it, thankfully even it can’t. I know ammo can be sacred, and I feel if enemy that downed me has to shoot me to finish instead of convieniently kniving, wasting not only bullets but also focus on me more than your average ragdoll, or battlebrutha I brought with me to the fight can use my body as “better not step here” kind of counter for example against a shotgun class, Martyr does the mindjob it’s supposed to.
It was pretty sweet once to destroy the EV’s last centimeters of health by dying next to it, which although could have been done with bullets alone, but I was doomed anyways due enemy rush so wheeeee we go.
