This reminds me of a comment I made on a certain someone’s YT channel who recently left DB. Part of their reasoning was essentially Dirty Bomb isn’t diverse enough and they went off on a whole tirade about how too many of our characters is a white guy with dark hair and facial hair. Ooh, boy, did that set me off. Spoiler, pretty heated political rant:

I’ll take that down if it’s a bit too much for this forum, though. I’m trying to avoid politics like the plague on here and frankly I hope it’s not even allowed. I’ve seen it destroy so many forums and games. The entire world has become a disaster.
honestly i wouldnt care if SD want to make more white mercs or colored people mercs
it just need to be well designed, cool, and useful
i mean were playing a game here, if he put himself too serious on identity politic its not other people’s fault.
Pretty much, don’t care what they look like as long as they’re fun to play…I play every merc and I’m looking forward to Guardian and I will play her even if they decide to make her transgendered.
It’s not like she is going to whip “it” out if she is one…so why would people even really care?
