Nader Double Plant Destroying Gameplay

This happens to me so many times and I don’t know if it’s a bug or just a real annoyance but … there I am going for my moment of glory … only for the game to rain on my chips (at least I think it’s rain…it feels wet :o )

Nice strategic move, a bit of a one-man army lemming rush, only to then get to the plant and I can only do one objective at a time :confused: Why?! I can only assume she has a handbag full of nonsense and it takes her an age to find the second stick, but it just doesn’t seem logical to be sat there with an open objective and nothing to do except admire the scenery. needless to say they got the defuse in and I ended up feeling totally unrewarded.

Any possibility of a change?

in an earlier build we could plant both concurrently

Yeah, I think so too, i’m just not sure whether it’s meant to be that way in general, or if it’s merc specific.

Normally i’ll play as Proxy but I got killed planting the wall so swapped to Nader on respawn so that I could protect the plant better from long range on my way back. I’ve also used Bushwacker in the past in the same situation and i’m sure there are times i’ve been able to plant both, but I can’t remember with which merc.

In SW mode where time is critical, it just feels crazy to be sat there watching the tumble-weed going past and you can’t get a plant off, especially if we’re working on the theory that all mercs can do the objectives

This will be fixed in a future update, currently only a few Mercs (with the quick PDA-armed charge) can plant on multiple objectives.

In the future all Mercs will be able to place a single charge at each active objective, one-per objective.
