I mean its about time to fix Nader’s grenades not being propelled when fired close to death. When has the death of a human effected the laws of physics? It simple never has not will Correct your game.
Its the little inconsistencies that continually push me away from your game. The issues with multiple mercs.
@ThaiSan no, as the same happens to both Fragger and Stoker (at least) I think it’s because the throwing/ firing animations happen after the object is primed, so there’s a small window where it looks like you’ve thrown/ fired something but the animation juuuuust hadn’t finished yet. So the object doesn’t have its needed force, so flops to the floor with you, and proceeds to evisverate you.
… fix Nader’s grenades not being propelled when fired close to death. to quote myself. So yes that is what I said. Right and my point is that gunpowder CAN NOT flop as a persons arm would. See a center-fire cartridge, a chemical reaction cannot be stopped by anything not involved in the reaction. Bullets fired close to death do continue and 40mm grenades that operate in the same manner should also.
That mechanic is controlled by the F key and is not related to above statements.
While I see what you mean from a real life perspective, from the game I’m just explaining why it might happen. It should be fixed, but I think it should be the same for all mercs, not just Nader (regardless of real life physics) but yeah, it should be a priority as its a pretty big problem when your gibbing yourself.

I wasn’t talking about Metatyrion. I was talking about that when you still have 3 grenades ready to go and you die with the grenadelauncher in your hands then all 3 of them will be scattered around you, armed.
Edit: Here is a video which shows what I mean. At 2:38 she dies with her launcher out and instantly has a couple of grenades around her without triggering metatyrion.

Yeah, no, that definitely wasn’t intended as a mechanic. That is a flaw in her Grenade Launcher physics that causes nades to drop at her feet as if she were carrying them and about to throw them, but instead drop at her feet when killed, likely left there by accident or oversight from mercs like Fragger or Fletcher where the mechanic makes sense. This only happens if you are actively firing the GL at the moment you are killed, and it is extremely annoying to have happen on accident.

They died sending rounds down range. I literally just died with three grenades, while not engaging the trigger. The end result, no grenades just waiting for me to hit F. There has to be a trigger pull within a certain time frame.
I did have grenades flop when the mouse was used though. Literally as I alt-tap to my left monitor.
Am I mistaken that heavyly? I could swear that sometimes when I play as Nader and die that a bunch of granades drop to the floor gibbing me instantly. A friend of mine had the same feeling… but I don’t play her that often so I could be wrong. But I was damn sure…
