I’m looking for a team that I can play competitively with, however, I don’t know if I want to work toward DBNation’s tournaments specifically, because I don’t know my relative skill. I have good days and bad days, but I can top out in a pub match pretty frequently. That doesn’t really mean much, though.
I’ve been playing DB on and off since the beginning of open beta. I had a few friends who I could play comp with, but they left with the aimpunch changes. Right now I just pubstomp, trying to get familiar with all of the mercs. I can use them all with a reasonable degree of potency, profile stats mostly just shows my favorites. I’ll play whatever the team needs.
I say “flexible” in the title because I want this to stay a game and not become a job. I can commit, but I’m a student and can’t be available for everything. I’ve perused this subforum, and get the feeling that a lot of teams require a lot of responsibility, or are casual. I haven’t participated in any teams outside of a group of friends, so I can’t say I know what these teams are all about. I know I’ll burn out of DB if I keep playing only for credits and shiny loadouts.
